Cozy gaming lounge concept art for the Tooele Free Gaming Lounge project

Our Vision: A Free Gaming Lounge in Tooele

The Tooele Free Gaming Lounge is a community project with one goal: create a safe, free gaming space where people of all ages can play, learn, and connect without paying by the hour.

Instead of charging admission, we’re trying something different — this website is how we fund the lounge, using helpful guides, gear recommendations, and “Play & Support” games to slowly cover future rent, hardware, and event costs.

What We’re Building Together

These are concept drafts, not final blueprints. Every decision — from which consoles we buy to how many tournament stations we have — will be shaped by our community’s ideas, votes, and the support this website brings in.

Here’s the kind of free gaming space we’re working toward in Tooele:

💻 PC Area

Esports-ready PCs for ranked grind nights, casual co-op, and school team practice.

🎮 Console Zone

PlayStation, Xbox, Switch, and retro stations — final mix chosen by community polls.

📚 Classroom Zone

Workshops on PC building, streaming basics, game design, and healthy gaming habits.

🏆 Tournament Zone

Flexible setup for Smash, Mario Kart, FIFA, and seasonal events that anyone can join.

Why This Matters

A safe, free, family-friendly gaming space in Tooele is long overdue. Right now, most options are either pay-by-the-hour lounges, crowded living rooms, or online matches with people you’ll never see again.

We want a place where teens, families, and casual players can:

meet up in person, play together after school, learn new skills, and join tournaments without worrying about hourly fees.

Free to use. Shaped by the community. Powered by everyone who reads, shares, and participates on this website.

How This Website Helps Build the Lounge

Instead of charging local players at the door, we’re trying to fund the Lounge the same way bigger gaming sites do — with ads, affiliate partners, and sponsor-supported games.

The easiest way to help is our Play & Support page. When you try featured games there, our partners pay the Lounge and we track that progress as XP toward real-world milestones like “first PCs,” “first consoles,” and “opening day.”

We also run a Gaming Gear Hub with honest guides to controllers, headsets, desks, and other setup essentials. If someone decides to buy through those links, a standard affiliate commission helps fund the Lounge at no extra cost to them.

In short: when you read guides, share our posts, or play through Play & Support, you’re helping pay for a free local gaming space in Tooele.

Play & Support the Lounge

The Tooele Free Gaming Lounge is built to be a place where everyone can play without a cost at the door. One of the simplest ways you can back this project is by trying out the games we feature here. Every click helps fuel the mission and keeps us moving closer to opening day.

Join the Community

Be part of opening day. Vote on setups, suggest games, and help shape the lounge from the ground up.
