Most of the time, you can just drop in and play. No pressure and no hourly fees. Grab a station, invite friends, or jump into a quick match with people in the room. It should feel as natural as meeting at a park or library — only here, the gear’s ready, the internet is wired, and the energy is better together.

• Stations ready: PC bays and console bays with four controllers synced and charged.
• Quick starts: popular games pre-installed where possible; staff help if you’re new.
• Stay as long as you like: the focus is participation, not transactions.

Esports & Competitive Play

We want Tooele to have a local esports scene — welcoming to newcomers and rewarding for competitive players. Expect a simple, consistent rhythm so you can plan ahead and get better over time.

• Bracket nights: focused evenings for titles like Smash Ultimate, Rocket League, and Valorant.
• Seasonal ladders: track wins across weeks; celebrate improvement and sportsmanship.
• Show matches & finals: we’ll aim to stream or record highlight sets once systems are dialed.
• Beginner-friendly on-ramps: “rookie” brackets and coaching moments so anyone can jump in.

Note: Specific games and schedules will be decided with community input and may change as interest shifts.

Events & Theme Nights

Not every night needs to be sweaty. We’ll rotate theme nights that keep things fresh and easy to join:

• Family hours: Mario Kart, Overcooked, Jackbox — quick, all-ages fun.
• Party bays: “winner-stays” rotations for couch chaos and big laughs.
• Community picks: polls decide pop-up events (speedruns, co-op challenges, retro nights).

Classes & Learning

This is a place to grow skills, too. We’ll pilot short, practical sessions based on interest:

• Esports basics: fundamentals, team roles, communication, VOD review.
• Streaming setup 101: mic/camera basics, overlays, etiquette, and safety.
• PC building & performance: parts 101, settings for stable FPS, helpful tools.
• Starter coding/game tools (future): only if there’s genuine demand.

We’ll start small and expand if there’s interest. Nothing here is a promise or schedule yet.

A Casual Hangout — Not a Timer

We want it to feel good to linger. Grab a drink, spectate a set, coach a friend, or jump into a quick match. Because there’s no hourly rate, you can relax and enjoy the space without watching a clock.

• Spectator-friendly: matches worth watching, screens placed for easy viewing.
• Low-friction play: simple station switching and respectful rotations during peak times.
• All-ages blocks: clear times where families can enjoy a calmer vibe.

How It Stays Free

The lounge is funded by the community through our Play & Support page. Complete actions on the site, they track, and you earn XP (no cashouts). That support helps pay for software, licenses, equipment, and events.

Safe, Friendly, Welcoming

Everyone should feel comfortable here. We’ll publish a clear code of conduct and enforce common-sense rules: no harassment, no cheating or scripts, respect for staff and equipment, and PG-13 language during family blocks.

What Happens First

We’ll roll in phases so it’s sustainable:

1. Open play baseline with a few popular titles ready and stations organized.
2. Theme nights and casual community events to build rhythm.
3. Esports brackets once demand is there and systems are dialed.
4. Classes/workshops as interest builds and volunteer instructors emerge.
